BEFORE SIGNING UP:
- You must be 18 years of age or older to sign up for this exchange.
- Empty journals and journals created within one month of the sign-up date will not be permitted to participate.
- Please have a regular and working email.
- If you intend to sign up, add fslashfest@gmail.com to your contact list. Other than the site, this is our only other means of communication with you!
- Be prepared to work within the timeline provided. We will not grant extensions past more than a week after the deadline.
- Note that all sign-ups are at the moderator's discretion.
GENERAL COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION:
- First and foremost, watch the community!
- Please leave a comment to your gift after it's been posted at some point during the fest. This is a requirement to future participation. It is just rude not to; your gifter went to the trouble of creating something just for you.
- Authors/Artists are not to comment to their submitted fic or post it elsewhere until after reveals.
- Comment trolls will be permanently banned from the community. When leaving a comment please keep in mind that the author/artist is not able to respond to you. Also remember that this is a fest, not a competition. Basically, be civil.
ASSIGNMENTS:
- All assignments will be made by the community moderators and emailed to you from fslashfest@gmail.com.
- Assignments are made based on your own sign-up preferences!
- That said, we may not be able to meet all particulars, which is why we ask for your squick category. This way if we can't meet your top preferences you won't get anything offensive to you.
SUBMISSIONS:
- Moderators reserve the right to return fanworks that do not meet standards for rating, length, quality or abject failure to meet the requests of the recipient.
- All fics/art must have a FEMMESLASH relationship portrayed. All main characters must be female-identified.
- Characters represented in your submission must be at least 15 years of age or older to participate in any sexual activity. There is absolutely no negotiation on this decision.
- No major corrections/revisions are allowed after submission to mods.
- ART
- Will be hosted by mods.
- Please spend quality time working on your piece. Please refer to the art tag for examples of previous submissions. This is a good gauge of quality standards.
- FAN-FICTION
- Fics must be 1500+ words.
- PWP is allowed but only if requested by participants. It must still adhere to the 1500+ words rule.
- Het and slash pairings are allowed in your work as long as they're secondary pairings. This is a femmeslash exchange and that is where the main focus should remain.
- Threesomes and more are allowed if all main characters are female-identified.
- All fics must be beta-read before submission to mods.
- We reserve the right to send back any fiction that doesn't meet standards for revision.

- NC-17 fiction will be hosted offsite, with commenting on LiveJournal.
- Do not cross-post your submissions until after the master list is posted!
